Year 3 had a visit from a very special visitor today, Olive the barn owl. She came with her friends Bob and Alistair (Hunter and Minnie's grandpa) who are both volunteers for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Olive was found on Staveley Nature Reserve around 6 weeks ago, cold and wet and very poorly. Olive was rescued by Bob and he has nursed her to the point of releasing her back into the wild, fit and well in the next week or so. Olive was absolutely beautiful and very well behaved!
