Homework:
Homework is set on a Friday. A list of spellings to be practised will be given in each child's diary along with a target timetable to practise. Games to support homework at home can be found on SpellingShed and Timestable Rockstars - logins are located in each child's diary.
Spellings and timestable will be tested every Friday.
We encourage that your child reads daily but we expect that they will have read at least 3 times per week at home (20 minutes). This should be recorded in their diary with an adults signiture.
Once per term we will set a creative homework challenge linked to our topic which will be showcased during our class gallery afternoon.
Diaries
Your child's diary should be in school every day (signed on a Monday), along with their reading book.
We also encourage the children to bring a piece of fruit to school every day to enjoy as a snack during their breaktime.
